The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has reached out to her father, Thomas Markle, following alarming reports of his serious health issues, including a leg amputation. This new development comes amid a historically strained relationship between the two.

In a recent attempt to reach out to her estranged father, Thomas Markle, who is currently hospitalized in the Philippines after undergoing leg amputation, Meghan Markle's spokesman confirmed that she has made contact. Their relationship has been fraught with tension, especially since his public criticisms and actions during her wedding to Prince Harry. It remains uncertain whether their conversation was successful, and the family's connections have remained largely severed since her marriage.

The Duchess of Sussex has attempted to contact her estranged father, Thomas Markle, who is reported to be seriously ill in hospital in the Philippines.

A spokesman for Meghan stated, 'I can confirm she has reached out to her father.'

Reports indicate that Mr. Markle underwent leg amputation during a recent surgery. Although Meghan attempted to connect with him earlier today, it is not clear whether their conversation was successful.
