In a startling revelation during a CNN interview, former model Stacey Williams alleged that former President Donald Trump groped her in the 1990s, an incident purportedly witnessed by the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. Williams asserted that the event took place in 1993 when Epstein, with whom she was romantically involved, introduced her to Trump at Trump Tower in New York City.
Williams stated, “The second he [Trump] was in front of me, he pulled me into him, and his hands were just on me and didn’t come off.” She recounted that as Trump’s hands roamed her body, Epstein and Trump engaged in conversation, creating a disconcerting atmosphere.
The Trump campaign firmly rejected the allegations, highlighting the timing of Williams' assertions, which coincided with an event titled "Survivors for Kamala." Campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt claimed that the allegations are unfounded and presented little more than a tactic to distract from what they called “deeply concerning” allegations surrounding Kamala Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff.
The allegation against Emhoff has been denied by him, following accusations from an ex-girlfriend that he slapped her in 2012. Meanwhile, the Harris campaign has yet to respond directly to inquiries regarding the claims made about Emhoff.
Williams described her experience with Trump as so overwhelming that she felt “frozen,” likening it to "an out of body experience." After the incident, she ended her relationship with Epstein, who later faced serious legal issues.
This latest account adds to the growing list of sexual misconduct allegations against Trump, many of which have surfaced since he began his presidential campaign in 2016. Trump has maintained his innocence, and in 2023 a civil court found him liable for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll, leading to multiple defamation lawsuit victories for her against the former president.
